Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine because I’ve always cared deeply about making a positive difference in kids’ lives. I want to be someone students feel safe around, supported by, and comfortable being themselves with. Creating an inclusive classroom is really important to me, especially one where every student feels seen, respected, and valued no matter who they are or where they come from. I also love the idea of being able to truly connect with students, not just academically but on a personal level too. I want to be a positive, consistent presence in their lives—someone who listens, encourages them, and helps them believe in themselves. Knowing that I could play even a small role in helping a student feel confident, supported, or understood is what makes teaching so meaningful to me.
