My Teaching Philosophy
I believe teaching is about helping students feel confident, capable, and supported as they learn. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and being themselves. When students feel valued and respected, they are more willing to take risks and grow.
I believe learning should be meaningful and connected to the real world. I try to make lessons engaging and relevant so students can see why what they are learning matters. I also believe in giving students a voice and some choice in their learning, because it helps them feel more motivated and involved.
Technology and innovation are important parts of today’s world, so I believe in teaching students how to use these tools responsibly and thoughtfully. Instead of avoiding new technology, I want to help students understand it and use it in ways that support their learning.
Most importantly, I believe strong relationships are the foundation of good teaching. By building trust, showing empathy, and setting high but realistic expectations, I hope to help students grow not only academically, but also as confident and curious individuals.
